Kudos to Lee County Schools for Doing the Right Thing

Yesterday we reported on the Lee County Schools driver’s education instructor who was arrested for DUI after an accident. I declined to reprint his name or photograph, and expressed concern that he’d lose his job and livelihood over the incident. The News-Press did some follow up on the story, and reports today that while he will no longer be teaching driver’s ed, the teacher will not be fired for a first-offense DUI charge.
